How often will we meet?
With your therapist you will determine the frequency of sessions, remembering that each case is unique. Therefore, treatment is tailored to your needs.  At  Allied, we believe forming a connection and gaining momentum in your therapy is very important. To accomplish this, you may meet more often in the beginning of therapy which will continually change in response to your progress and goals. 
How long will my therapy process last?

Many problems can be resolved in a brief period of time. However, there is no magic number to determine how long your process will last, and this will depend onn your progress throughout. During your initial assessment, we will determine if your needs are best met by Allied Counseling. If we’re not able to facilitate your needs fully, your therapist will refer you to another program.

Are my counseling sessions confidential?
Confidentiality is one of the cornerstones of the therapeutic relationship. The staff at Allied follow professional, legal, and ethical guidelines to protect your health information. However, therapists are mandated by law to break confidentiality in response to suspected abuse or neglect of a minor child or vulnerable adult. You can review the privacy policy located in forms for further clarification and /or ask your therapist. 
What information do I need to verify my insurance benefits?

You’ll need one of three options to verify your insurance coverage:

  • Name, date of birth, and address of the individual seeking service
  • Name, date of birth, and address of the insurance policy holder
  • Insurance policy name, member ID, and group member
When can I get an appointment and how do I schedule?

Our business hours are Monday-Thursday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM and evenings by request.

Allied offers on-line scheduling for existing and new patients, which can be accessed hereThe patient portal allows secure messaging that looks similar to a text, but protects the information. Other options include calling 701-203-9013 or emailing alliedcounselingtm@gmail.com. Be advised that the email is not secure until we respond and encrypt it. We will respond within 1-2 business days.
